Wednesday 13th August

This year, having reviewed its marketing strategy, Dungroamin Holidays decided to organise an event in the UK to allow our more grounded clientele to experience again the exhilaration of the Dungroamin experience. The format returned to that of the earlier camping days, where the time and location is set and everybody turns up. There were a few that managed to find a suitable excuse for not coming and these have been noted in the corporate database to ensure there is innovation in the development of future excuses. These will be available for a small charge from the management team.

There is plenty of room for sitting in the rain.

The choice of venue had been the subject of a rigorous Dungroamin quality control exercise, with a number of hostelries in the area being visited and the Kings Arms at Cardington being selected after a stringent multi–criteria analysis – it had loads of room.

One of the main topics of conversation was the delivery rate of grand–children. Jerry and Fiona took the prize for the most due at the current time, with a massive three!

As the crowds dispelled, those remaining decided to go for a stroll and they discovered a lovely old church just long the road. We were able to go inside and have a look around before returning to the pub where we entertained ourselves seeing who could fold and tie the tightest empty crisp packet. Oh, it was just like being back at Uni!

Thanks to everyone for coming. Your bills are in the post.

Brian does a bit of last minute revision in the Dungroamin Archive. What was the name of that woman I came with? Pete practises his bowing ready for the guests to arrive.

After several attempts, Geraint eventually gets us all in the picture.
