The holiday that smells but has no taste

We should have been in Porto in Portugal. But the Coronavirus had scuppered our plans and as a result of the lockdown, our trip had to be cancelled.
So Chris had this idea of holding a virtual Porto get-together by Zoom, the latest craze in virtual meeting software. The idea was also to make it a surprise for the ladies. So who had access to the hardware needed and could keep it a secret? Up stepped Pete to take a rapid learning course in Zoom. But he soon got the hang of it and invitations were issued.
The next unknown was how everybody would get on joining up. Surprisingly, this generally went OK although the Clarkes had a few issues as can be seen below.
There were one or two issues with the Clarke family who were promoting a trip downunder!
This is how it should (and did eventually) look.
So we had a good natter to catch up; there was a bit of drinking but sadly not of portuguese beer.
Now we look forward to the creation of a vaccine, so we can all get back to normal.
