Tuesday 5th November

This year saw the Blackaby family (Rick and Annabelle) relocate from Sussex to Skipton in Yorkshire. This move from being about the most southerly participants in our activities to the most northernly, meant that a review of the most appropriate meet-up location was in order. After much research and reviews of alternatives, a pin was stuck in the map and The Riverside Inn on the banks of the River Trent at Farndon near Newark identified.

This proved to be a success as the Inn had plenty of room to accommodate our group of 15 and the food was up to Dungroamin standards.

Jerry was now the most distant of our clientele, but even he turned up.

This new location, meant that it was within a reasonable distance for Chris and Sally who came to an Autumn get-together for the first time, so it was good to see them.

The Inn had requested our meal choices in advance and these were submitted and everything went very smoothly. From this point of view it didn't seem like a Dungroamin trip at all.

Thanks go to Google Maps for enabling our pin placing to be a success.
