Tuesday 4th November

For some reason, Pete had suggested this pub just outside Peterborough, so as this would be very convenient for the Dungroamin Management team, it was chosen as a new option for our Autumn get-togethers.

Geraint was so keen not to be late, he actually booked in the night before.

Our table was not in the best location, as it was up against a wall, so people on that side had to all move along to let people out.

This in part caused the first incident of the day when, during one such manoeuvre, a pint of beer was knocked over.

A scene of devastation. There is beer on the floor and all the potential culprits have made themselves scarce.

The food generally was very good, but Alan P was not very impressed by his Croque Monsieur.

Gail regaled us with about 1,000 photos of her daily walks in Melton Country Park, which largely comprised pictures of muddy ponds and lots of reeds. However they did mean something to Alan P who had been involved in the design of the area.

Bill settlement, which in recent times has gone very well, had a hiccup, as somebody didn't pay for a flat white and a cappuccino!! Who was the guilty party?

Unfortunately we forgot to take any photos of the assembled crowd. To find out who came, go to the “Attendance” page.
