Monday, June 7th
After breakfast, we said good bye to Jerry and Fiona who had planned “to do” Vienna today. So with their world (apart from any underwear that is) packed in their small suitcases, they trundled off down the road. You couldn’t have filmed a better final scene for a Dungroamin movie.
Wiping the tears from our eyes, the rest of us decided to go for a walk around in the town and ended up near the river, where we found that the river had gone down a bit and all the boats had moved on. So we had been quite unlucky in visiting on days when the boats were stationary.
After the river we climbed back up to the castle, where we had a cup of coffee overlooking the city.
Time to go back to the airport. But for us it’s a taxi that disappears into the sun set.
