The Finale

On the last morning most of the girls wanted to go shopping, so they did that while the men plus "small beer" went to look for a bar. We walked to Wenceslas Square where we found ...... lots of shops. But we did manage to find a street bar where we could sit and watch the day go by. We reflected on the new word we had learned - "defenestration" which means death by jumping (or maybe being thrown) out of a window. There seemed to have been a lot of this in Prague's history. Unfortunately this bar decided to add a 33% service charge so one of our last experiences of Prague was being ripped off.

The journey back to the UK was fairly uneventful.

We had had a great time in Prague in glorious weather, but we never did find the cheap beer that we had heard about. Apart from the beer at the Monastery, the beer was pretty normal foreign largery fare.

But nevertheless a successful Dungroamin Holidays foray abroad.

The two new recruits appear to have survived their first Dungroamin experience. But both wear dark glasses for fear of being recognised
